Located in the southwest corner of Grayson County, Tioga is in the heart of “horse country” and provides our citizens with the “best of both worlds”… they are close enough to enjoy all the amenities of the Dallas/Ft. HOLIDAY NOTICES AND SCHEDULES
COME OUT ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2023 AS THE CITY OF TIOGA CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH MULTIPLE EVENTS.
The second annual Holiday Hustle 5K Fun Run and Walk will start at 8:00 a.m. at the City Park, 602 Main Street. Funds raised will benefit the Tioga Police Department K9 Program.
The Tioga Fire Department will be hosting Breakfast with Santa from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Tioga Fire Department, 601 Main Street. The event is FREE. Donations benefiting the Tioga Fire Department will be accepted.
The Tioga Economic Development Corporation will host Christmas on Gene Autry in downtown Tioga starting at 6:oo p.m. Events include a parade and the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
CITY HALL WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY, DECEMBER 25 AND 26 2023 FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. WE WILL ALSO BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, JANUARY 1, 2024 FOR NEW YEAR’S DAY.
FOR CHRISTMAS, WHICH FALLS ON A MONDAY; YOUR TRASH SERVICE WILL BE DELAYED BY 1 DAY. Your normal Tuesday service will be moved to Wednesday, and your regular Friday Service will be moved to Saturday. Please breakdown large cardboard boxes and put them out with your trash instead of taking them to the recycle bin.
