You must obtain a permit before constructing or installing any swimming pool (above-ground or in-ground) that holds 5,000 gallons or more of water. Sep 10, 2024 - The City of Tioga has adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The proposed tax rate will effectively be raised by 33.12 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100.000 home by approximately $98.53.

Texas Government Code, Chapter 252 gives you the right to access government records. To obtain information, submit your written request by mail, fax, email or in person. You may use your own form or the public information request form provided by City Hall.
We charge the costs provided by the Texas Administrative Code for research and copies of information. You will also be required to pay any costs associated with delivery of the information (postage, etc.).
The City strives to fill all request for disclosure of public information within ten (10) working days, however, due to personnel demands, schedules and the storage location of the records there may be occasions when the disclosure of records may take time. We will contact you immediately to notify you of any delays.
