The City of Tioga has adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The proposed tax rate will effectively be raised by 15.89 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100.000 home by approximately $97.86.

Our Mosquito Prevention Program is scheduled to begin in May and run though October. Spraying is scheduled for late evening or overnight. Spraying is scheduled for June 4, July 1, August 5, September 2, and October 7, 2026. Dates will be adjusted if weather forecast includes rain.

Applications for the HOME Programs will be available at City Hall beginning March 11, 2024. Deadline to submit an application is January 15, 2026. Click here for more information.
